The units , located in Brasília , São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro , have precision air conditioning systems to guarantee temperature and humidity conditions suitable for IT equipment .
All of the company ’ s digital infrastructure has already received the Certified Energy Efficiency in Data Centers Award ( CEEDA ). Dataprev was the first public company in Latin America to achieve this certification .
The savings in energy and water consumption in data centers in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro is the result from airconditioning systems based on cold water . The newer data center in Brasília , on the other hand , does not even use water , as it has an in-row system , which uses refrigerant gas .

Last August , the company ’ s board of directors approved the green IT policy , in order to continue to incorporate management principles that consider the rationalization of energy and water consumption and the fight against waste .
