Gabriel Boric , Chilean President , and Gustavo Petro , Colombian President , have signed a bilateral energy integration agreement to develop the renewable market , with a special focus on green hydrogen . According to Boric : “ The agreement provides for the development and incorporation of renewable energies into grids , in particular green hydrogen and sharing experiences and progress in this field .” Both Chile and Colombia already have specific national strategies for green hydrogen . According to Petro , greater regional integration will ensure clean energy and security for South American countries . “ South America is the region in the world with the greatest potential for clean energy generation ,” said the Colombian President .

El Salvador , which became the first country in the world to recognize Bitcoin as a legal currency , has approved a law that regulates the issuance of other digital assets , both by the state and by private entities . The bill , supported by legislators from the ruling party allied with President Nayib Bukele , aims to attract both national and foreign investors , while creating new financing opportunities for citizens , companies and the government . According to the legislation : “ The objective of this law is to establish the legal framework that provides security to the transfer operations of any digital assets used in public offerings of issuance .”
GigNet , a digital infrastructure company with an extensive regional broadband fiber optic network in Costa Mujeres , north of Cancun , has announced an exclusive multiparty agreement to bring advanced biometrics to the development of Puerto Cancun , Mexico .
