Therefore , I believe more and more that the ESG agenda should be prioritized by the entire market but with special attention from technology companies – as a demonstration that we recognize and honor our commitment to social transformation in a broad and sustainable way .
Companies in the IT sector have in their DNA a purpose aimed at promoting change . This focus on development puts us on a pioneering path and , at the same time , proposes an urgency to prioritize the advances that our business model still requires on several fronts within the context of environmental and social impact . And the topic is on the radar of investors .
A PWC study published in 2020 pointed out that 77 % of institutional investors plan to stop buying , within the next two years , products that do not respect the ESG pillars . In this context , the ESG agenda imposes itself as a topic that we must become familiar with .
