System integration generates more operational efficiency for Grupo Magnolia
Communication between the management of gas stations and convenience stores with ERP CIGAM is carried out by the Low Code Magic xpi Integration Platform .
Grupo Magnolia has deployed ERP CIGAM to increase its operational efficiency and eliminate manual data collection from a POS system supplied by XPERT and installed in more than 120 gas stations and 18 convenience stores belonging to the chain .
The process also involves capturing the Fuel Movement Book ( LMC in Portuguese ), a mandatory daily document used to record the entry and exit of fuel .
If the purpose of CIGAM was to help the company better handle a large volume of information about the daily movement of stores , in an organized way , integration with the POS proved to be necessary since both systems do not have native communication with each other to perform data exchange .
The tool chosen for this task was Magic xpi by Magic Software .
Business management involved a lot of spreadsheets , reworking was excessive , error correction was frequent and the submission of tax obligations required rectification .
Another challenge was the monthly invoicing for individual and corporate customers – a common practice at gas stations – with delays negatively affecting the company ’ s cash flow .
