atNorth continues to expand its Nordic footprint with the acquisition of two data centres in Finland

The company will take over the operations and management of the two data centres , acquiring the sites and talent from Advania to continue running the facilities in a high-performing , scalable way to service existing customers at the highest level .
These facilities will be added to atNorth ’ s fast-growing solutions portfolio of data centre facilities across the Nordics . An expert team of atNorth data centre specialists will oversee the process to ensure a smooth transition with uninterrupted operations and seamless service .

atNorth , a leading pan-Nordic colocation , high-performance computing and Artificial Intelligence service provider , has announced that it has reached a definitive agreement to acquire two data centre facilities in Finland from Advania . This acquisition will fuel atNorth ’ s expansion in the region , as the company also looks to build a third site in Finland .

Digital Realty takes steps to secure additional data centre capacity in Athens

Digital Realty , one of the largest global providers of cloud and carrier-neutral data centre , colocation and interconnection solutions , has announced that it is under contract to purchase additional land in Athens that is expected to support 15 Megawatts ( MW ) of additional data centre capacity , further strengthening the company ’ s presence in Greece .

The land parcel , located in the adjacent property to ATH3 and ATH4 in Koropi , a suburban town of Athens , is expected to support the development of new facilities which will connect to Digital Realty ’ s existing facilities , providing customers with access to the densely populated , rapidly growing connected data communities that have been established at these sites .
Through PlatformDIGITAL , Digital Realty ’ s global data centre platform , customers will be able to connect to a broad range of businesses through its vast global footprint of more than 300 data centres in 50 + metros across 27 countries on six continents .
