wWhat would you describe as your most memorable achievement ?
I have had many stand-out moments throughout my career , but in terms of my most memorable achievements , I ’ d say I have two . One is setting up Sagacity and the second is that we recently secured major investment from Queen ’ s Park Equity , which will support Sagacity ’ s future and continued expansion .
This investment was a particularly proud moment for me , as it was a culmination of years of hard work , sacrifice and support from a fantastic team to get where we are today . Continuing to provide a highquality service to our clients and maintaining a worldclass NPS score of + 82 is key for me !
What first made you think of a career in technology ?
My career actually began in investment banking within NatWest Markets , where I managed the investment portfolio of major energy companies .
Then , I joined the Credit Strategy team at One 2 One ( T-Mobile and now EE ). Having held roles within financial and commercial teams which relied heavily on technology , I became an independent consultant , implementing systems from a business perspective by working with technical teams to translate business needs .
Leveraging my operational background , business acumen and programme delivery , I co-founded Sagacity with my business partners , Harry Dougall and Malka Townshend .
I then embraced the opportunity of creating a technology platform that contained business rules to increase efficiency , address regulatory needs and enhance the end customer experience for our clients .
I believe there is no such thing as a successful individual . Everyone ’ s success is the result of teamwork , collaboration and assistance from others .
