CyrusOne to expand Frankfurt capacity with fifth data centre
Upon completion , Frankfurt V will deliver 18,000 sqm . of world class technical space within two separate three-story buildings , each with a critical power capacity of 31.5MW . The facility will be built with a low PUE through the use of a closed loop water cooling system and other sustainable specifications to reduce water usage and impact on the local ecology over the life cycle of the data centre . The earliest phase of construction is planned for Q2 2023 with the first phase of 9MW of capacity or more delivered Q3 2024 .

( REIT ), has announced the purchase of land in Hanau , East of Frankfurt , for the construction of a state-of-the-art data centre facility with incoming power of 90MW and a critical power capacity of 63MW . This will be its fifth data centre in Europe ’ s digital capital .

Wasabi Technologies launches London storage region
Wasabi Technologies has announced the opening of a new storage region in London that will expand the availability and speed of services throughout the UK .
Building on strong momentum for Wasabi in Europe following a major distribution partnership with Exclusive Networks , one of Europe ’ s largest cybersecurity distributors , the London site also accelerates the company ’ s rapid global expansion with plans to open additional storage regions in the next year .
Located in the Equinix Data Centre in London , the new storage region marks Wasabi ’ s first in the UK and second in Europe , following the opening of Amsterdam in Q1 2019 . With this location , Wasabi delivers high-speed network access from multiple carriers , making it easy for UK customers to connect to Wasabi hot cloud storage . It also offers enough power and space for additional growth , as Wasabi scales to meet the increasing demand for storage across the UK while adhering to local data protection laws during the Brexit transition period .
