The National Health Service ( NHS ) in Birmingham calls on WALLIX to strengthen the protection of its data a growing number of IT administrators and 20 external service providers connecting remotely to perform maintenance or technical support tasks , the Trust was looking for a solution to both secure and control access from external providers and manage access to privileged accounts .

Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Trust provides community and specialist services within Birmingham and the West Midlands . With a staff of 5,000 agents , the Trust has gone through a period of unprecedented stress throughout the health crisis , particularly in terms of cybersecurity . Since NHS networks have become increasingly complex , it has become difficult to ensure the security of remote access to networks , especially when it comes to accessing critical applications and sensitive data . With

Working in partnership with the Trust Armstrong evaluated the market to find the right privileged access management ( PAM ) solution . The ease of use , compliance and visibility that WALLIX Bastion provided made the platform the perfect choice . Armstrong supported the Trust through a demonstration , trial and procurement process . The WALLIX Bastion seemed like a perfect fit and with the ability to audit and track external access it also fulfilled the compliance requirements .
“ WALLIX was presented to us by Armstrong as the right solution for us ,” explains Iqbal Mahal , Head of Server Infrastructure within the Digital Technology Services at the Birmingham Community Healthcare IT department ( BCHC IT ).
Armstrong supported the Trust in deploying the WALLIX Bastion solution for 150 servers and 20 Bastion users .

Worldline launches Data-as-a-Service platform for online payments

Worldline has announced Ingenico ’ s launch of its first ever Data-as-a- Service ( DaaS ) platform for payments , Ingenico Insight .
