ITALY
Equinix , a digital infrastructure company , has announced it is continuing to invest in growing its data centre capacity in Finland . The company is expanding two of its International Business Exchange ( IBX ) sites – HE5 and HE7 – in Helsinki , with a € 32 million investment boosting the capacity for further digitisation of local and international customers . To date , Equinix has invested approximately € 147 million into its data centres in Finland .
EOLO , a telecom operator for the residential and business market in Italy , is working with Cisco to strengthen its fixed wireless access network to extend its ultra-broadband connectivity to rural areas .
The collaboration unites two companies that have been committed to helping bridge the digital divide , which today still affects a significant part of the Italian population . According to recent data from the third CENSIS Auditel report , 3.5 million Italians did not have access to Internet connections in the first lockdown last year and are still living without quality access to applications .

ServiceNow , a leading digital workflow company that makes work , work better for people , has announced that NHS Scotland is using ServiceNow ’ s Now Platform as the digital backbone of its programme to rapidly rollout the vaccine to protect citizen health in the fight against COVID-19 . NHS Scotland ’ s vaccine management system , developed on the Now Platform , integrates and digitises the entire vaccine administration process .

Tampnet ’ s unique network routes pass through eight countries , connecting 30 vital data centres in 12 European and US cities featuring high-speed networks across northern Europe . QTS ’ Eemshaven customers can now access major metropolitan areas in Great Britain , Norway , Sweden , Denmark , Germany and the United States .
