Nokia has announced that it has launched 5G services with Polkomtel , operator of the Plus network , in the capital city of Warsaw as well as other major cities in the eastern part of Poland . The scope of the project includes the introduction of 5G on top of the existing Nokia AirScale LTE infrastructure . The service has been launched in the fourth quarter of 2020 and , as part of the nationwide Plus 5G network rollout started in May 2020 , will be further expanded in the coming months .
Banks in Germany , Austria and Switzerland ( DACH ) are looking to transform and improve customer experiences , and many are turning to technology service providers to help them manage and modernise their core banking systems , according to a new report published by Information Services Group ( ISG ). The 2020 ISG Provider Lens Banking Industry Ecosystem Report for the DACH region finds banks there are looking to service providers to help them attract and retain customers through technology-driven , easy-to-use loan and credit solutions .

FRANCE
Zôdio , a brand serving people who are passionate about cooking and decorating , has successfully rolled out the Openbravo POS solution to all its stores in France , enabling it to offer new omnichannel capabilities and more efficient customer service . After a successful three-month pilot , Zôdio completed the rollout of Openbravo POS to its 20 stores and 220 POS terminals . Zôdio turned to Openbravo when it needed a new POS solution that complied with the French anti-fraud law .

BELGIUM
The Belgian Federal Public Service of Foreign Affairs ( FPS FA ) has signed a new agreement with Orange Business Services to transform its global communications infrastructure . The renewed and expanded contract overhauls network , security and application infrastructure across 118 locations in 87 countries . Additional network resilience is supported through fully integrated satellite services . The solutions will help deliver the high level of performance , resilience and security required by diplomatic staff to support Belgium ’ s interests and citizens abroad .
