KOOKAÏ selects GTT SD- WAN to support its Digital Transformation in Europe

YouGov survey finds 80 % of data-driven businesses claim they have a critical advantage as pandemic continues

A managers and IT decision-makers across the UK , France , Germany and the Netherlands , has identified a divide between companies that are using data to inform decisions throughout the pandemic and those that are not . The YouGov survey , commissioned by Tableau , questioned business leaders of small , medium and large companies about their use of data during the pandemic , lessons learned thus far and confidence in implementing long-term business changes .

GTT Communications , a leading global cloud networking provider to multinational clients , has announced that women ’ s fashion brand , KOOKAÏ , will deploy GTT managed SD-WAN and connectivity services for its 148 office and retail sites across France and Spain .

KOOKAÏ ’ s online business and shops in France and Spain have relied on GTT ’ s network for over a decade , supporting business-critical data flows such as inventory , orders and payment transactions . As KOOKAÏ moves into the next phase of its Digital Transformation , it will bring more contactless sales terminals , video and real-time marketing to enhance its in-store experience .
It is also looking to innovate its online retail experience and manage the increased demand for Internet shopping , which has grown dramatically in the past six months .
The managed SD-WAN service provided by GTT will ensure traffic is routed securely and optimally across KOOKAÏ ’ s network and support increased levels of user activity . It will also provide secure local Internet breakout , as well as a Wi-Fi hotspot in every KOOKAÏ location for customers and staff in stores .
Offices and shops will be connected using fibre or broadband , with 4G backup for every site to ensure resilience .

For business leaders from data-driven companies , a majority ( 80 %) believe they have had a critical advantage during the pandemic . These leaders are also more committed to the important role data plays in the future of their business , with a large majority ( 76 %) planning to increase investment in data skills as they look towards 2021 . What ’ s more , 79 % are confident they will ensure business decisions are supported by data .
Meanwhile , findings show that non datadriven companies are slower to grasp the importance of data as they navigate these uncertain times , with only 29 % seeing it as a critical advantage and 56 % saying they will reduce or stop investment in data skills .
Additionally , only 36 % are confident they will ensure business decisions are supported by data .
