The Municipality of Haarlem , SADC ’ s PolanenPark and CyrusOne , a premier global data centre REIT , have announced the signing of a unique Memorandum of Understanding ( MoU ) to jointly examine the economic and technical feasibility of a heat reuse project in the region .
The MoU follows successful collaboration among the three stakeholders over the last 12 months . It is expected to result in the successful capture of residual heat from CyrusOne ’ s Amsterdam I data centre ’ s water cooling process , which will feed into a new district heating network to heat 15,000 homes in the municipality .

Wipro has announced plans to set up a Digital Innovation Hub in Düsseldorf , Germany , to serve as the company ’ s flagship centre in Europe .
It will offer Digital Transformation expertise to companies in Germany , enable organisations to cross skill and upskill besides supporting talent development in local communities .
Wipro will also collaborate with institutions and universities in the North Rhine-Westphalia state to develop tailored programmes and career opportunities for young graduates in advanced digital skills and technologies .
