CHINA
Intel India in collaboration with the government of Telangana , the International Institute of Information Technology , Hyderabad , and the Public Health Foundation of India have launched INAI , an applied Artificial Intelligence research center in Hyderabad .
INAI is an initiative to apply AI to population scale problems in the Indian context , with a focus on identifying and solving challenges in the healthcare and smart mobility segments through strong ecosystem collaboration . INAI will act as a catalyst to accelerate India ’ s leadership in AI by driving innovation and entrepreneurship .
Aurora Mobile , a leading mobile developer service provider in China , has entered into a strategic partnership with Beijing Moji Fengyun Technology ( Moji Weather ), a leading weather service platform in China , to enhance push notification services and accelerate user growth .
The partnership will leverage Aurora Mobile ’ s technical capabilities and years of expertise in the mobile developer services sector and will allow the company to provide Moji Weather with stable , efficient , secure and intelligent push services that optimize user experience and increase user engagement and retention .

AUSTRALIA
Hearing Australia has launched a Systems Modernization Program with leading independent technology services provider DXC Technology . With more than 450 audiologists , Hearing Australia provides hearing care through tele-services , online , in home and across a nationwide network of 168 centers .
The Systems Modernization Program will replace Hearing Australia ’ s ageing core ICT systems and business processes over the next 12 months . Replacing three ageing systems with an integrated technology platform will bring improvements to client experience and service delivery .

THAILAND
The Bank of Thailand has launched a Blockchain-based platform for government savings bonds . Leveraging Blockchain technology on the highly secured IBM Cloud , the platform allows investors to benefit from speedy bond issuance , reducing a process that previously took 15 days to two days .
The efficiency provided by Blockchain also reduces operational complexity and the overall cost of issuing bonds . Patama Chantaruck , VP for Indochina Expansion and MD of IBM Thailand , said : “ IBM is proud to bring our world-class Blockchain platform and IBM Cloud to support Bank of Thailand , and work side-byside with them in achieving this important milestone for Thailand ’ s financial industry .”
