This delay may create significant problems as insights become outdated and deliver less value to the business .
Boosting observability in a multi-cloud environment
Enthusiasm for using multi-cloud environments shows no signs of slowing as the business world ’ s appetite for digital services continues to grow . As a result , organizations must find new approaches to capturing , ingesting , indexing and operationalizing observability data .
This , in turn , is creating the need for log analytics models designed to keep pace with the complexity of multi-cloud environments and scale limitlessly with the huge volumes of metrics , logs and traces they create . Data ‘ lakehouses ’ are a powerful solution as they combine the structure , management and querying features of a data warehouse , with the low-cost benefits of a data lake .
Taking this approach eliminates the need for teams to manage multiple sources of data , piece them together manually and move them between hot and cold storage . It also increases the speed and accuracy of AIOps insights .
Embracing such a strategy can enable a business to unlock data and log analytics in full context and at enormous scale , enabling faster querying that delivers better answers from AIOps .
Businesses that are able to achieve this will be well placed to improve their ability to deliver superior experiences for their customers and achieve a valuable edge over competitors . p
