Datasea , a technology company engaged in providing smart security solutions and developing education-related technologies in China , has entered into service agreements involving its Smart Information Service System ( the ‘ Smart System ’) with Shenzhen Linghang Haocheng Education Technology , an education training company , Shenzhen Weisou Technology , an application operator , and four gas stations in Shenzen and Shanwei , all located in the Guangdong province . Datasea ’ s Smart System is designed to service the needs of retail industry vendors and utilizes Big Data analytics and facial recognition technology . The system allows retailers to employ facial recognition technology to charge customers to be used at the point of sale .

Infinera has announced that KT Corporation ( KT ), South Korea ’ s largest telecommunications company and formerly Korea Telecom , deployed the Infinera 7300 Series Multi-haul Transport Platform in its national backbone network to support a nationwide roll-out of 5G services . KT selected the 7300 platform to provide a scalable core network solution optimized for the performance requirements of bandwidthintensive end user services , such as 5G . KT is a global leader in offering next-generation high-bandwidth services and 5G technology . KT deployed the first phase of its 5G network in late 2018 , launching new services in the greater Seoul metropolitan area .
