Cisco has announced the launch of

AppDynamics Cloud at Cisco Live , the premiere networking and security event .
AppDynamics Cloud enables delivery of exceptional digital experiences by correlating telemetry data from across any cloud environment at massive scale . It leverages cloud-native observability to remediate application performance issues with business context and insightsdriven actions . “ AppDynamics Cloud delivers power and usability in a single , intuitive interface . It puts the focus where it needs to be – on 360-degree visibility and insights , and the ability to take action that leads to extraordinary application experiences every time ,” said Liz Centoni , EVP , Chief Strategy Officer , GM of Applications .

Lookout data reveals Australia worst in the World for mobile app threats

Lookout , a leading provider of endpointto-cloud security , has released the latest results of its Lookout App Threats Map , a threat intelligence index based on analysis of more than 160 million applications across the globe .

The latest data reveals that , globally , Australians are the population most exposed to mobile app threats on a per-device basis , and iPhone users are significantly more likely to download a risky application than an Android user .
Lookout ’ s latest figures reveal Australia is the country with the highest percentage of mobile app threats detected ( 26.9 %).
“ Australians may have become complacent when it comes to downloading applications to their phones , at a time when risks are higher than ever ,” said Don Tan , Senior Director of Asia Pacific and Japan ( APJ ), Lookout .
“ Across the nation they ’ ve been using their phones to check in , order food and more – this common usage of phones has perhaps bred a complacency about the applications they ’ re downloading .
