AUSTRALIA
Infosys , a global leader in next-generation digital services and consulting , and Rolls-Royce , one of the world ’ s leading industrial technology companies , have inaugurated their joint Aerospace Engineering and Digital Innovation Centre in Bengaluru in India .
This centre has been established to provide high-end research and development ( R & D ) services integrated with advanced digital capabilities to Rolls-Royce ’ s engineering and group business services from India .
Infosys and Rolls-Royce ’ s collaboration has been reinforced through strategic deals , aimed at yielding mutual benefits to both organizations over the next seven years .
Google Cloud and The Garvan Institute of Medical Research ( Garvan ) have announced a milestone in Australia ’ s pathway to deploying genomic medicine .
In an Australian-first , the organizations collaborated on the largest genome sequencing sample ever performed in Australia , processing 14,000 genomes in less than two weeks . This is a significant step forward for genomic research , which proves the power of cloud-based genomic processing and its potential to lead to earlier diagnoses , interventions and targeted treatments of gene-related health issues .
Google Cloud supported Garvan by demonstrating the scalability of a secure-by-design , cloud-based solution .

NEW ZEALAND
Spark New Zealand is advancing its IoT Control Center platform powered by Cisco with new features to help businesses improve service reliability and reduce operational costs using Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence .
IoT deployments generate vast amounts of data per day , making it impossible for enterprise customers to personally monitor their IoT deployment and catch issues when they arise . This can lead to larger problems impacting service reliability , increasing cost and compromising security .
Cisco is solving this challenge for Spark with two new modules added to the Cisco IoT Control Center connectivity platform that use advanced proprietary machine learning algorithms to process massive amounts of data in near real time for its enterprise customers .

JurisTech has announced its partnership with Mambu . The partnership will carry a great role in propelling and catalysing the growth of the digital banking ecosystem in Malaysia to support both unbanked and underserved markets and boost greater levels of financial inclusion in the Malaysian economy .
