BPC has announced that Tinkoff has selected its SaaS Cloud payment services for its planned expansion to the Philippines . The project is an extension to an existing partnership between the two companies and is a testimony to BPC ’ s proven technical expertise in digital banking and payments . In addition to BPC ’ s awardwinning technology , Tinkoff chose the firm over its competitors for a number of reasons , citing in BPC ’ s extensive local knowledge and experience in the Philippines and across Asia . BPC ’ s next generation payment processing company Radar Payments will manage the end-to-end payment experience for prospective Tinkoff customers in the Philippines .

TASMANIA
Optus customers in Hobart , Tasmania , can now get a taste of Optus 5G thanks to the implementation of a technology that delivers high capacity and broad coverage 5G and 4G services utilizing existing 2100MHz and 1800MHz spectrums . Working with technology partner Ericsson , the first of nine initial Optus 5G sites has been switched on in Hobart with the remaining eight to be switched on by June this year . This technology milestone was achieved utilizing a 5G Frequency Division Duplex ( FDD ) Carrier with Massive MIMO capability on a Dual band 1800MHz / 2100MHz 4G / 5G Active Antenna integrated radio unit ( AIR 1641 ). The implementation of this technology allows Optus to offer 5G services , with both high capacity and coverage , in areas where 5G 3.5GHz spectrum is currently unavailable .
