NEC Corporation has announced the development of AI technology that makes high-speed decisions while maintaining high accuracy in real-time analysis of time series data . This technology is expected to enable face recognition as well as cyberattack detection to be accelerated by up to 20 times while maintaining the same accuracy as existing methods . NEC ’ s new technology collects and analyzes data without a previously fixed amount of data required . Inspired by neuroscience , the technology makes a decision as quickly as possible by accumulating evidence until a certain confidence level is reached . Since additional data collection is unnecessary after reaching the desired confidence level , computations can be accelerated .
Pakistan Telecommunications Company Limited ( PTCL ) has signed an agreement with National Institutional Facilitation Technologies ( NIFT ), to enable and promote its online platform that will allow customers to pay their bills online conveniently and securely through NIFT ’ s ePay digital payment gateway on PTCL ’ s website . Being one of the largest payment processors in Pakistan , NIFT enables secure digital commerce payments through its DFS platform , under the brand name ‘ NIFT ePay ’. PTCL customers can now make online payment using any bank account in Pakistan for e-commerce transactions on PTCL ’ s website , along with other existing digital payment instruments such as debit / credit cards and digital wallets to pay for their online purchases .

Singapore ’ s Changi Airport Group , one of the most innovative and technologically advanced airports in the world , has selected Genetec , a leading technology provider of unified security , public safety , operations and business intelligence solutions , to enhance and upgrade its security system . The three-year project , which is expected to be completed by the end of 2023 , will see Genetec Security Center , a unified security platform that blends IP security systems within a single intuitive interface , underpinning the airport ’ s security operations , with a specific focus on the video surveillance system across its terminals . The contract was awarded to Genetec following a rigorous competitive tender process .

Equinix has announced that Precision Robotics , a surgical robotics start-up from Imperial College London , has deployed an NVIDIA DGX A100 system in Equinix International Business Exchange ( IBX ) in Hong Kong . Through this deployment , Precision Robotics aims to develop next generation surgical robots to support the future of precision surgery for personalized healthcare and improved quality of life . As one of the first three operators to join the NVIDIA DGX Ready Data Center Partner Program in Asia- Pacific , EMEA and North America , Equinix has become Precision Robotics ’ partner-of-choice for deploying the DGX A100 , the universal system for all AI workloads .
