KENYA
The Digital Rights and Inclusion Forum 2022 , which was organised by Paradigm Initiative and a host of country partners across 17 African countries recently concluded in Kenya with the launch of PIN ’ s 2021 Annual Digital Rights and Inclusion Report – Londa . Londa 2021 expands on last year ’ s report with findings from 22 countries , examining themes of privacy , freedom of expression , access to information , segmentation and exclusion , Digital Transformation , affordability , gender , and others within existing legislative frameworks , and against the backdrop of a widening digital divide .

NIGERIA
elev8 education , a global digital skilling and transformative education partner announced it had joined the Amazon Web Services ( AWS ) Training Partner programme . Through the programme , elev8 will deliver cloud computing skills training , developed and maintained by AWS , to organisations and learners in Nigeria and Rwanda . Many companies have accelerated their Digital Transformation plans this year ; however , innovation and security remain a top challenge and priority .

Digital Afrique Telecom ( DAT ), a pan-African digital services , development , aggregation , and hosting of mobile value-added services company has partnered with Ever Medical Technologies , a medical technology solutions provider to facilitate , improve and disseminate digital medical solutions across the continent .

GHANA
Smart Africa ’ s capacity building arm , the Smart Africa Digital Academy ( SADA ) in partnership with Ghana ’ s Ministry of Communications and Digitalisation have launched a national digital academy in the west African country , marking the official kick off of in-country implementation of the initiative . The agreement is contained within a Memorandum of Understanding ( MoU ) signed between the Smart Africa Alliance and the Ghana ’ s Ministry Communications and Digitalisation .

CAMEROON
Recently launched Boris Bison ( BB ) Youth Empowerment Business Incubator in Douala , Cameroon , the Pan-African video game publishing company Ludique Works and Start North , the Finnish technology learning accelerator network , have announced mutual memoranda of understanding to introduce their technologically advanced learning environments , the ‘ 5G Mokki Tech Spaces ’, across the African continent . BB Incubator is the first of its kind in Africa to adopt the 5G Mokki Tech Spaces , a high-tech learning and communication environment .
