South African solution driving digitisation in the Seychelles
In the Official Gazette of the Republic of Seychelles ( Extraordinary ) No . 530 of 2021 – published under the Digitisation and Publication of Gazette Act – the Seychelles government has confirmed that , pursuant to section 22 ( 1 ) of the Electronic Transactions Act , the Controller recognises Impression Signatures as a Foreign Certifying Authority .
This stamp of approval comes at a time when the world is digitising faster than ever before and noted the progress that South Africa has made in remaining at the forefront of innovation . After a thorough assessment and audit of the Impression eSignature solution , the Seychelles government has found the solution to align with its eSignature laws , while standing up to rigorous security requirements .
