Huawei and TPAY MOBILE partner to drive app monetisation for developers

ServiceNow partners with Cisco to enhance contact tracing capabilities

Huawei is co-operating with fintech company , TPAY MOBILE to make it easier and more convenient for developers in the Middle East and Africa ( MEA ) region to monetise their apps on Huawei Mobile Services ( HMS ).

The first phase of the agreement will offer direct carrier billing ( DCB ) services in 10 countries across MEA region , including all mobile subscribers .
Huawei and TPAY MOBILE have been working closely as part of their on-going commitment to support developers in the MEA region .
The partnership according to the two companies will allow local and global developers to monetise their apps and services through HMS ’ in-app-purchases ( IAP ) kit across the region .
TPAY MOBILE ’ s DCB service offers all Huawei ’ s HMS customers in the MEA region the ability to pay for their apps and services through their mobile phone number . This will make it more accessible for Huawei and Honour device users to pay for online services and apps on HMS . As a result , developers will get 100 % DCB coverage in the MEA region including Kuwait , Bahrain and Oman .

ServiceNow , a digital workflow company , has announced a new integration with Cisco DNA Spaces to enhance contact tracing with its Wi-Fienabled Proximity Reporting app .

The integration will help businesses returning employees to the workplace by monitoring their workspaces closely for physical distancing . The company has also added new capabilities to its ServiceNow Safe Workplace suite , making travel for business safer and more manageable .
The integration with Cisco DNA Spaces will allow joint customers of ServiceNow and Cisco to seamlessly import locationbased data into the ServiceNow Contact Tracing app and identify potential interactions with an infected employee . Proximity Reporting from Cisco DNA
Spaces allows customers to better understand the extent of each interaction and potential exposure to floors and buildings across the workplace . This is based on employees ’ Wi-Fi network connections to laptops or mobile devices , so case managers can take immediate and informed actions . The new integrated solution will help to reduce workplace transmission of infectious diseases , like COVID-19 , by identifying on-site employees who might have been in contact with an infected employee .
