Lenovo partner PartServe Channel Support has scooped the PCG Services Partner award at the annual Lenovo Channel Partner Awards .
Highlighting Lenovo ’ s on-going commitment to channel partners even in uncertain times , the annual awards ceremony was carried out online for the first time since its inception .
PartServe is a Lenovo authorised warranty service provider as well as a Lenovo authorised spare parts distributor for South Africa , specialising in providing genuine and authentic Lenovo parts to customers .
UK-based fintech Finastra , has announced plans to deliver a range of initiatives which enable its customers to accelerate through change , as well as creating positive outcomes for millions of people around the globe .
The move , stated the company , is part of its on-going innovation and open cloud platform strategy .
Finastra and its customers are set to positively impact over nine million lives around the world , through technology and collaboration . According to the company , key areas of focus in the Middle East and Africa ( MEA ) include : the SME funding gap and serving customers through change .
Through the SME funding gap initiative , Finastra is piloting a revolutionary microfinance initiative , Trust Machine , in Kenya . Together with partners in data , financial literacy , Blockchain and scenario modelling , the resulting loan and balance sheet optimisation solution aims to reduce the US $ 19 billion funding gap by 1 % in the country which could potentially create 50,000 new jobs to encourage sustainable economic growth .
On serving customers through change , Finastra recently helped Pan-African Ecobank to connect 34 African countries with a unified cash management system .
In three months , Ecobank processed approximately US $ 75 million in transaction volumes for COVID-19 relief funds to citizens , through Fusion Cash Management .
In Zimbabwe , through Fusion Digital , ZB Financial Holdings ’ client base has increased to 400,000 as of June 30 , 2020 .
The company provides Lenovo mobile , PC and laptop repairs and spares including hard drives , batteries , screens and power supplies . PartServe ’ s partnership with Lenovo exists to mainly serve the demands of local customers in South Africa .
