Tech giant Dell Technologies has said the latest Latitude Chromebook Enterprise enriches the employee experience with sleek , compact design and innovative productivity features with first 4K panel with Low Blue Light technology .

According to the vendor , companies can easily secure , deploy and manage Latitude Chromebooks from virtually anywhere ,
supporting their employees wherever they work .
Chrome OS has accelerated its expansion within businesses amid the shift to work from anywhere .
The new Latitude 7410 Chromebook Enterprise , a 14-inch premium business laptop or 2-in-1 from Dell Technologies , boosts productivity with on-the-go power , sophisticated security and fast connectivity features employees need .
With the Latitude 7410 Chromebook Enterprise , Dell has expanded its Latitude Chromebook lineup , offering a mainstream and premium option to give companies more choice in devices without sacrificing enterprise-class scale , manageability and security .

SA construction industry must gear up for POPI Act or face consequences

The commencement of the Protection of Personal Information ( POPI ) Act will impact a vast number of businesses , regardless of their nature or size . And as one of the major contributors and employment providers to the South African economy , the construction industry is no exception , said Morag Evans , CEO , Databuild .

Nicol Myburgh , POPI Act adviser to Databuild , added that : “ Businesses have until 30 June 2021 to get their house in order .
Those that fail to comply with the legislation will be held accountable in the form of hefty fines or prison sentences .
“ Additionally , the resultant reputational damage that can follow an information breach is incalculable and could lead to costly legal action and the ultimate demise of the business .”
According to the act , everyone has a right to privacy and protection from damage resulting from the misuse and abuse of personal information , such as financial fraud and identity theft .
To this end , the legislation aims to prevent the unlawful processing of personal information of South African citizens .
