They will try and exploit our new reliance on video conferencing software and other work from home tools because whether we like it or not, their nefarious activities rely on such agility. Cybercriminals will be all too aware that employees working remotely are no longer going to be under the comprehensive supervision of their IT teams. They will be hoping that individuals working from home will drop their guard when it comes to security. Employers will need to think long and hard about educating their employees in the new ways of working and they will need to ensure they have the right technology in place to ensure their business is both operationally efficient and resilient in terms of cybersecurity. This includes a greater emphasis on cloud security since we are now more reliant on the cloud than ever before.
