MAURITANIA
Sheikha Fatima Maternity & Childhood Hospital consists of
a two-storey building located in Nouakchott, Mauritania. The
facility will have 20 beds, an operation theatre, a unit to sterilise
aesthetic equipment, emergency care units and a range of
multipurpose wards.
SOUTH AFRICA
Redstone Solar Thermal Power (RSTP) is a planned
solar power tower solar thermal power plant, located in
Postmasburg, near Kimberley, in the Northern Cape Region of
South Africa. Redstone Solar Thermal Power is 100-megawatts
(MW) and will be the first solar tower plant with molten salt
energy storage in Africa. The 100-megawatt (MW) project with
12 hours of full-load energy storage will be able to reliably
deliver a stable electricity supply to more than 210,000
South African homes during peak demand periods, even
well after the sun has set.
