IDD Alliance of Central Texas
The IDD Alliance of Central Texas works to create a person- Strong community partnerships ensure the success of
centered system of care for people with intellectual and/ this program and improve the lives of people living
or developmental disabilities (IDD), their family members with IDD. Partners include Integral Care, ARC of Capital
and caregivers. Specifically, the Alliance is focused on: Area, Easter Seals, the Autism Society of Central Texas,
Vela, Down Syndrome Association of Central Texas,
• Guiding parents, policy makers and others H.A.N.D., Family Eldercare, the City of Austin Health
on how to support people living with IDD and Human Services, Travis County Health and Human
during transitional stages of life Services and Veterans Service and UnitedHealthcare.
• Helping adolescents transition into the community
• Connecting adults to individualized supports and
services so they can maintain independence
• Advocating for early diagnosis
• Creating accessible and inclusive opportunities for
people with IDD to participate in the community

Families with Voices
Families with Voices is a multi-agency collaborative that
helps families in Manor improve their health and well-being
by meeting their everyday needs. Integral Care combines
its expertise in behavioral health and care coordination
with partners including Foundation for the Homeless,
Easter Seals and Goodwill of Central Texas to create a
care team that can help families meet multiple needs.
Integral Care uses the family’s input to identify their vision
and strengths to develop family goals and care plans. Families
meet monthly with their care team to work toward their goals
and improve their overall health and well-being. The program’s
goal is to provide families with a strong foundation so they can
maintain stability and build their own health and well-being.

Families with Voices provides:
• Counseling for children and families
• Help with food and transportation
• Help with housing and job training
• Referrals to community resources
