In my first grade classroom, I have recently integrated the Osmo iPad Base and Coding Set into our learning station rotations. The Osmo iPad Base allows the iPad to convey the work that you have placed on the counter in front of it. The Osmo Coding Set allows you to physically move tiles that move the digital creature on the screen. My students have made gains in the areas of problem solving and teamwork because of regular exposure to the award-winning Osmo iPad system. We are all hoping to explore new Osmo Interactive Sets in the near future!

Karleigh said she loves that the coding system gives her choices. She “could make him (the Osmo character) go any direction” by using the coding tiles.
Kaley said her favorite part of using the Osmo Coding Set was being able to “plan her moves and count the steps” before she presses the play button.
