The Advancing Specialized Skills for Economic Transformation or ASSET program aims to provide young people with technical vocational education and training . This is an island-wide program of the World University Service of Canada ( WUSCU ) Sri Lanka that has the goal of equipping 4 , 000 youth with employment skills in order to address labour gaps . INDECOS ’ role in the ASSET includes presenting to several divisional secretariat offices and governmental field officers on the goals and beneficial goals of the ASSET program for our communities and for youth in Sri Lanka .
