INGREDIENTS:
2 cups powdered sugar
4 teaspoons milk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract or 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
4 teaspoons light corn syrup
Food colouring of your choice
DIRECTIONS:
1. Stir together the powdered sugar and the milk until smooth.
2. Beat in corn syrup and extract until icing is smooth and glossy.
3. If it's too thick, add more corn syrup.
4. Stir in food coloring as desired.
5. You can dip the cookies, paint them with a paint brush or spread the icing on using a knife or the back of a spoon.
YIELD: 2-4 dozen cookies
