5. Draw another line on the resulting figure perpendicular to the first line.
6. Cut along the line you just drew and translate the bottom piece to the top.
7. Tape the pieces together.
8. Decorate and/or colour the resulting new shape.
9. Voila! The resulting new shape (a hippo head) can now be tessellated!
