The National Flag of Canada, unofficially referred to as the Maple Leaf or L’Unifolié, is easily recognizable as a white square bordered by two red bars with an 11-point maple leaf charged in the centre. This is the flag that has been flown from the Peace Tower since 1965, but Canada has in fact seen many flags preceding this one.
