Method 2: Compass Only (well...mostly)
Instructions:
◉ Using a compass, draw a circle.
◉ Then draw semi-circles (arcs) from symmetrical points along the circle, each time starting the next semi-circle from the point where the previous semi-circle ended. A flower with six petals can be created this way.
◉ Keep going in this manner to create an elaborate composition of arcs.
◉ Alternatively, variably adjust the span of the compass to create a set of rings behind the petals. The same technique can be used to create circles within the petals.
◉ Use a pencil to then create patterns symmetrically. Colour them in when you are happy with your design!
