VISION
It’s Not What You Think
What do you think when I say the
word “pageant”? Many people think of
the TV show, “Toddlers and Tiaras”. But
I want you to know that there are many
pageants which are “natural” and not
like this at all. In fact, they offer many
benefits and skills that can be used in
real life.
This year, I was blessed to have
been crowned as the 2014 Miss Indiana
Preteen National Teenager for the
American National Teenager Scholarship
Organization (ANTSO). This organization
is the best pageant scholarship program
for teenagers in America. ANTSO
promotes good grades, leadership,
community service, and the “everyday”
girl. When I go to Nationals this July in
Nashville, TN, I will be competing with
girls from all over the country. Since I
am a straight “A” student, a leader, and
volunteer a lot, I want to encourage other
girls to do the same.
Also this July, I will be finishing
my reign as the 2013 Miss Indiana Jr.
Preteen Queen for National American
Miss. National American Miss (NAM) is
a pageant organization which focuses
on girls gaining poise, confidence
and valuable communic
