training or weight lifting will
completely allow you to reshape
your body. Together with the
hypocalorie diet, weight lifting
allows you the better chance of
losing strictly body fat, while
helping to enhance the natural
curves of your body. It tends to
put the body in an anabolic state
and encou rages muscle mass
gain or muscle maintenance. You
may not burn as many calories
per minute in resistance training
during the actual workout (it
depends on how intense the
lifting workout will be), the
overall calorie burning bene its
you receive from it outweigh
that of cardio. This training
recruit tons of muscles and
cause you to burn signi icant
calories during your workout
either you incorporate it with
weights or bodyweight
movements such as freeletics.
Imagine this: after you inish
training, after you go back home
and sit on your couch and listen
to the playlist of all your favorite
songs, watching a movie, playing
video games or catching up a TV
series, your body’s metabolism
continues to operate at a
heightened pace as you rebuild
your muscles stronger than
before. This can continue for
upwards of 36 hours after you
inish training.
For my part, I have done both
the resistance training and
cardio aside from a proper diet
and as far as the result is
concerned, resistance or weight
lifting training worked for me.
The irst thing I tried was doing
the necessary cardio activities
but I noticed that my body was
not that proportioned enough as
compared now. I lost some fat,
but at the same rate, my muscles
were not overly toned, thus it did
not give off the same type of
appearance as the freeletics
does which is what I have been
doing lately. When you go for cardio, thing is,
you tend to use mostly your lower body
extremities that is why there are those that
have leaner lower body extremities but at the
same time, do not have a leaner upper
extremity and this is not ideal at all. When I
started lifting weights and doing body
movement workout plan, I noticed I have a
much better overall transformation. My
metabolic rate increased and it somehow
simulated a greater fat burning process and
it gave more de inition when I lost body fats.
I am loving resistance training and I am also
considering to include cardio for quite some
time for better results. Please bear in mind
that your diet is responsible for 80-90% of
your successes or failures which means even
if you spend 10+ hours a week exercising,
that still leaves 168 hours for you to mess
things up when it comes to your food intake.
Keep the ideal total number of calories under
control, refrain from eating junk food, give up
soda, cut down fast food menu and start
eating REAL FOODS: veggies, fruits, and lean
meats. Before I forgot, DO NOT STARVE
yourself to death. Your body needs energy

and the body derives energy from the
food we eat. You just have to eat healthy
food and those that are rich in iber. So,
what are you waiting for? Go put some
workout clothes on and start your lifting
and/or cardio routine. The road to weight
loss is just an endurance away. Feel best
on things you do. Remember, sweat is just
