Virtual Victory for the 2020 Radiothon
Donors have shown a dedication to the Kapi ‘ olani Radiothon for Kids for years . Never was that more apparent than in 2020 . Despite the challenges of the pandemic , a record $ 427,575 was raised for Kapi ‘ olani Medical Center for Women & Children , making last year ‘ s Radiothon the most successful in 14 years . The completely virtual fundraiser went on seamlessly with iHeartRadio on KSSK 92.3 and the efforts of everyone , from planners to day-of volunteers , bridged the physical distance between them and donors . More KSSK 92.3 radio personalities , sponsors , online phone bank teams , Kapi ‘ olani patient families and staff members participated than ever before .
