Don't hustle your muscles
Let’s wiggle our toes and squiggle our nose.
And turn our lips into a smile.
We’ll then wave our hand, sit down and then stand,
And then dance around with some style.
Let’s run and let’s swim, then climb in the gym
Or we’ll paddle our feet in the sea.
Whatever I do – it’s the same thing for you –
For my muscles are working for me.
They’re under our skin from our feet to our chin
And in case you don’t know they are there,
They’re lurking beneath, around bones, under teeth,
And they’re also right under our hair
They’re working for you, whatever you do,
Like an engine that’s driving a car.
But may I suggest that you give them a rest
Or I think you’ll not go very far.
