how it got its name. Due to the constant building, the Great Wall had to
be guarded all year around. So families had to be separated for months,
sometimes even years.
here was a young soldier who had been away to defend the
northern part of China for years. His father back home was quite old and
was afraid that he would not be able to see his son again. So he set off to
pay him a visit. Despite not seeing each other for a long time, the father
and the son recognised each other instantly. They were brimming with
happiness. However, to everybody´s surprise they both died on the spot.
