Show a picture of “a roller coaster” and ask the students to tell you words they associate it with. Find out if
any of them have already enjoyed a ride on a roller coaster and ask them to share their experience.
Tell the students they’ll hear a true story about a girl who visited the Universal Studios in America and had
her first roller coaster ride there. Ask them to listen and find out how her feelings change throughout the
story.
