A guide to a happy life
What can you do to improve the quality of your life?
Sometimes we will be in a bad mood because of a math’s test, English classes,
or perhaps too much homework. These things can make us sad or angry and
can also harm our bodies. So how do we allow ourselves to be happy?
Firstly, for me, I’ll find who or what makes me angry or sad. If it’s a test or my
studies, I will try and approach it with a positive attitude. For example, one day, I
failed my math’s test, so my parents criticized me a lot. But after that, I studied
hard and listened to the teacher more attentively, so I got a good score next
time. And at that moment, I was really happy.
Secondly, if I’m in a bad mood for no reason, maybe I simply have a lot of things
to do, I’ll read a comic to relax myself. I like comics very much, although my
parents say they are not worth reading, but I do read them and laugh a lot. This
can absolutely make me happy.
Last but not least, judging by my own experience, it is thinking positively about
yourself. It really works. I took part in a speech contest several months ago. I went
on the stage and was very nervous. But I remembered that teacher Russie told
me to think positively, so I said to myself: “I can pass this test and get the prize!”
And it’s true! I won third prize! I was really happy that day.
To sum up, although we may have something that is bothering us, we should try
to stay happy and have a positive head on our shoulders.
