A tour guide approaches and takes us to the next attraction ' Deep-sea Scenery” where we see more incredible marine life and coral displays. Gazing at the beautiful fish, I realise that I have lost Russie. Luckily it doesn’ t take me too long to find her reading a fascinating story about the marine world on a huge screen.
After our exciting time at Ocean World, we are happy to find out that we don’ t have too far to walk to our next destination. We have been told that the best way to see the beauty of the city is by taking a boat trip on the river Pearl. After getting the tickets, we go on board and sit comfortably at the front. We are quite lucky because the breeze makes the humidity more tolerable. We can hear people speaking many different languages around us which reminds us that travelling brings people and cultures together.“ Frank, I am starving. Shall we have a bite to eat?”
“ Frank, I love this place … but look, isn’ t that a shark over there? I think there’ s a person swimming as well.” We go to the nearby pond where we find a few people waiting to dive into the water and swim with the trained sharks. I am not surprised the queue is small. Who has the guts to swim with these ferocious creatures? We are happy to stand by and check out the show.
“ I can see that man is eating some rice dumplings. Let’ s get a few, teacher.” While enjoying our tasty lunch, we see a gorgeous tower in the distance. The audio guide tells us we are approaching Canton Tower, which is the highest TV tower in the country. It’ s striking with its unique design and seems to be a great place for entertainment.
