Step 4 In this step the students work in pairs or individually. They create a poem online, choosing from limerick, haiku or a free verse. http:// teacher. scholastic. com / writewit / poetry / poetry _ engine. htm
Step 5 If you are running out of time, you may assign the last task for homework. The students make a heart-shaped book using the poem they’ ve written in Step 4. They will need paper in different colours and scissors.
