If they are willing, they could share some of their goals for this year. Discuss the following questions: What are your goals for this year? Do you share your New Year’ s resolutions with other people? Why? Do you follow certain rules when planning your year ahead?
Listening Listen and fill in the gaps with an appropriate word or phrase:

After listening Put the students in small groups and ask them to create a visual chain using the ideas from the recording. They can decide on a project they can work together on. For example,“ An Important exam in November 2017”.
