Summer is coming up , and so is travel season ! Paying for a taxi or parking a car at the Austin or Houston airports for several days can get expensive .
Shuttle services are available to get busy travelers where they are going for affordable prices . Streamride and Ground Shuttle are two services offered in Bryan College Station . Streamride offers shuttle rides to the Austin airport and Ground Shuttle services travel to the two Houston airports .
Sarah Laningham , founder of Streamride shuttle service , noticed the need for a shuttle service option to the Austin airport from College Station . In March 2015 , she started Streamride , a daily shuttle service that costs $ 60 per trip with home pick-up .
“ I ’ ve seen the services that Houston and Austin offer and I wanted to offer a service that improved lives and made things more convenient for people ,” says Laningham .
The times Streamride leaves College Station everyday are 7 a . m . and 2 p . m . and the arrival times to Austin are 9 a . m . and 4 p . m . The departure times from Austin to College Station are 9 a . m . and 4 p . m ., which arrive in College Station

at 11 a . m . and 6 p . m . The busiest days for Streamride are Thursdays through Sundays , while Mondays through Wednesdays are less busy .
In addition to Streamride shuttles to Austin , Ground Shuttle is a daily shuttle service to the Houston George Bush Intercontinental and Houston Hobby airports . Ground Shuttle began in 2003 and is the oldest shuttle service in business in B / CS to offer local residents transportation to an airport other than Easterwood airport .
Ground Shuttle travels more frequently to Houston , with 10 shuttles to the George
Bush Intercontinental airport and four to the Houston Hobby airport everyday . According to Ground Shuttle ’ s website , the cost for a one-way shuttle ride to the Houston George Bush Intercontinental airport is $ 35 . It is $ 10 extra to travel to the Houston Hobby airport and an additional $ 10 for home pickup . In addition to offering shuttle services , Ground Shuttle offers private car services and charter bus services for groups of 10 to 14 passengers .
“ In addition to our airport shuttle service , we offer private transportation tailored to whatever the needs of the customers are ,” says Ground Shuttle President and Owner Maria Gonzalez .
Ground Shuttle is currently in the process of building a new office in South College Station . They are also expanding to other markets and increasing their customer base by offering additional services , according to Gonzalez .
