WYSE Program: One example of
the engaging lifestyle available at
Crestview
The Wisdom for Youth from Senior
Experience Program is a 10-week
student mentoring program designed by
the Methodist Retirement Communities
and implemented locally by Crestview
Retirement Community at 2505 E. Villa
Maria Rd. in Bryan.
The program makes a positive impact
and is one of the many ways seniors at
Crestview stay involved and engaged in
the Bryan College Station community.
WYSE lessons include family life, money
management, drug and alcohol use, and
even technology, where students often
become the mentor.
Jimmy Tyree, a former Yell Leader at Texas
A&M University, says helping young people
is the reason he participates.

Izzy Dolls for a Uganda mission, support
the Walk to End Alzheimer’s, and
participate in various veteran organizations
and events. Others volunteer with a variety
of local charities, and some still work full-
or part-time.
