B/CS APARTMENT ASSOCIATION
The Bryan College Station Apartment
Association was formed in 1973 and operates as
a nonprofit trade organization. BCSAA is a local
affiliate of the Texas Apartment Association
and the National Apartment Association
serving nine counties in the Brazos Valley.
Those counties are: Brazos, Burleson, Grimes,
Leon, Madison, Milam, Robertson, Walker, and
Washington.
We are the Apartment Association. BCSAA is more than apartments.
MISSION
STATEMENT:
The purpose of the
BCSAA is to further the
professionalism, and
integrity of the rental
housing industry,
through professional
education, community
awareness and affirmative
legislative representation.
The purpose of BCSAA is to provide educational opportunities,
legislative representation, and services to owners, managers,
and staff of the rental housing industry. BCSAA also provides a
forum for product and service companies to gain exposure and
network with potential and current customers. Membership of
the BCSAA is comprised of rental housing owners, managers,
supervisors, property management firms, locator services,
builders, developers, and product and service vendors. Currently,
there are more than 350 members representing more than 31,000

Terry and Susan Matheny began their journey
in multi-family housing in Bryan in 2014 with
the purchase of a 248-unit undermanaged
property in Bryan. With a vision of upgrading
the property and creating a space where people
want to call home. They began the renovation
journey, and participated in BCSAA for the
training and resources found there. Since then,
Terry and Susan have acquired 2 additional
multi-family communities in College Station.
All managers participate in BCSAA committees
and on the BCSAA board. The association’s
commitment to excellent has been a vital
resource providing opportunities to achieve
excellence in their professionals and to offer
problem solving solutions.
