accredited Rural Health Clinic, serves
the citizens of Grimes County and
the surrounding Brazos Valley, led by
Family Nurse Practitioner Elizabeth
Ellis, DNP, RN, FNP-BC, FAANP.
Dr. Ellis has been a resident of Grimes County for
the past 10 years. Dr. Ellis desires to fill the healthcare
void existing in the area for more than 90 years. She
is board certified as a family nurse practitioner with
ANCC, and a certified rural health care professional
with the National Association of Rural Health Clinics.
Clinically, she practices in primary care with a focus
on wellness and prevention with additional practice
specialty in the areas of employee health, occupational
health, and urgent care. Throughout her career she
has practiced in both rural and urban healthcare
settings in Family Practice and Internal Medicine.
