COLLEGE STATION MEDICAL CENTER
87 Years of Commitment Serving the Brazos Valley
College Station Medical Center
has been providing care to the
Brazos Valley for more than 87
years. It was the first hospital
in Bryan College Station.
The Med’s 167-bed acute
care hospital has introduced
many first-time medical
advancements in the region,
including surgical robotics
and advanced interventional
cardiology. In fact, surgeons at
College Station Medical Center
were the first in the Brazos
Valley to offer single-incision
robotic surgery.
Throughout the years, The Med has
been privileged to work closely with
many physicians in the community to
provide residents of the Brazos Valley
with a full continuum of health care
services, including primary and wound
care, internal medicine, orthopedics,
general, gynecological, and bariatric
surgery, urology, and cardiac care. These
relationships allow patients more access
to specialty services closer to home than
ever before.
In 2018, The Med opened the doors
to their Ronald McDonald Family Room.
The comfortable haven gives families with
children in the hospital an opportunity to
rest and regroup while steps away from
their children.
The Med’s Breast Diagnostic
Center offers a full range of women’s
diagnostic services in a spa-like setting.
Some services include screening
mammograms, genetic testing, bone
density, and breast ultrasounds, all
placed conveniently in one location.
The Wellness Center at College Station
Medical Center includes Joint Replacement
and Bariatric Surgery. It is the only hospital
in the Brazos Valley region to receive
national certification in joint replacement
from the Joint Commission and is home to
the only fellowship-trained bariatric surgeon
