Friends of Chamber Music offers free
concerts of world-class musicians.
Their spring performances will
present the Schumann Quartet from
Germany, organist Mark Husey, and
the Dover Quartet.
The Süddeutsche Zeitung says, “The Schumann
Quartet is without doubt one of the very best groups
among today’s abundance of quartets.”
Mark Husey’s ensembles and organ playing,
featured in more than 600 videos, have been viewed
more than 5 million times around the globe.
Finally, the Chicago Tribune says, “The Dover
Quartet players have it in them to become the next
Guarneri String Quartet — they are that good.”
