Dear Friends,
This change in our lives disrupts our routines, our activities and our ability to freely
move and do what we want to do. The responsibility is OURS, as a community, to
help get rid of this virus. The virus needs us to pass it around because it cannot do
that by itself. If every person that has the virus or has been exposed stays away
from others, there is no one to infect and the virus does not survive. So as long
as everyone follows the guidelines and we do not allow the virus to infect other
people, this disruption is time-limited. That being said, we know that is easier said
than done. We wanted this special Home Edition of INSIGHT Magazine to lend some
insight into what we can do to during this pandemic. We hope this issue provides
you not only entertainment but knowledge on many different “things to know and
help” during this time. Calhoun County has always been a close-knit community
but this moment reminds us that we are all connected like never before. We are
called upon to be our best selves, with patience, understanding and compassion.
